GCF(30, 75, 120) = 15
First, you need to figure out the factors of 30, 75, and
120:
The factors of 30 are 1,2,3,5,6,10,15, and also 30. The factors
of 75 are 1,3,5,15,25, and also 75. The factors of 120 are
1,2,3,4,5,6,8,10,12,15,20,24,30,40,60, and also 120.
Then you need to see what factors these numbers have in common.
30, 75, and 120 have the factors 1, 3, and 5 in common. Out of all
of these numbers what is the greatest number that all three of
these numbers have in common? If you said 5, you are correct.
So the greatest common factor of 30, 75, and 120 is 5!
I hope this answer helped you understand this problem.
